Learn to Break Instructional Series

We have just completed filming the first episodes of a highly anticipated learn to bboy dvd series which will be the most complete breaking tutorial available to date and will feature some the world's best bboys from the Pro-Dance roster. The DVD is being filmed and edited by One Red Pixel who also produced the impressive trailer on the homepage. The first episodes will feature the incredible Focus from Flo-Mo Crew teaching an in depth introduction to the bboy style. World B-Boy Champion, Mouse, joins Focus in episode two teaching more complex footwork, variations, styles and powermove combinations.

Bahrain F1 Grand Prix

Pro-Dance sent over a team of six dancers and a DJ for a warm up event for the Bahrain GP. Cico, Mouse, Steady, Chimp, Babyson and Lil Steph along with DJ Hooch caused sandstorm at the Yalla Bahrain Soap Box Derby (an event where students built karts to be sent down a very steep hill to see how far they would go!!) Having never seen breakers of a world-class level before, the crowd was stunned by the amazing moves performed by the Pro-Dance team. Unfortunately, we were unable to stay for the main event the following week but we hope to be performing at future Grand Prix events so be on the look out for us.

Junior wins Incroyable Talent

Congratulations to B-Boy Junior who has just won the Incroyable Talent tv show (France's version of Britain's Got Talent) and walks away with a cool 150,000 Euros! Junior is one of the most famous bboys in the world and his youtube videos have millions of views. It is a well deserved victory and a great achievement for his year's of dedication to his art. Amazingly, Junior is the second Pro-Dance artist to win the show as Salah was the season 1 winner in early 2007.

Thorpe Park

Into our third year at Thorpe Park, this year Pro-Dance created the 'Concrete Stylez' stage where the Funkstylerz bboys showcased their bboy skills alongside the Urban Freeflow freerunners, the top parkour team in the UK. Over the nine days of performances, we pulled in huge crowds into the Thorpe Park dome and provided the theme park visitors with some incredible action, especially during the unfortunate bursts of heavy rain early on in the week. Thanks to bboys Steady, Reveal, Husain and Time from Funkstylerz and to Blue and Asid from Urban Freeflow for some incredible shows. Also, thanks to DJ Hooch and DJ Timber for rocking the house with the funky beats throughout the week.

Cico sets a World Record

B-Boy Cico became the first person to achieve 20 turns of a 1990 (vertical spins on one hand). While most bboys would be happy with 3 revolutions, Cico's ability to spin defies logic as he becomes one step closer to his life long dream of flying!! Check out Cico's showreel to see the gravity defying move.

Salah @ Breakin Convention 2007

Salah, once again, brought the house down with two awesome performances of his show 'The Dream of Gluby' at the UK hip hop theatre festival 'Breakin Convention' held at Sadler's Wells Theatre. Salah's incredible mix of dance, mime and comedy and ability to adlib wowed the audiences into fits of laughter and applause. Event reviews praised Salah and remarked on his show as a highlight of the festival.

B-Boy the game

The ground breaking new PS2 & PSP game based on bboy culture hit the stores this October. B-Boy the game features top bboys from the Pro-Dance roster including Mouse, Lilou, Hong 10 and Physicx. We were also heavily involved in the game's conception and production with Hooch and Crazy Legs as chief consultants on the project. We are proud to have such a realistic and authentic console game that represents our culture so well and gives these top bboys the opportunity to have their dance and name set in the history books as animated characters. Dancers in the game include Mouse (UK), Hong 10 (Kor), Physicx (Kor), Darkness (Kor), Kazuhiro (Jpn), KMel (USA), Ruen (USA), Ivan (USA), Crumbs (USA), Lilou (Fra), Benny (Ger), Sonic (Den)

Mouse is World Champion

The UK's top bboy, Mouse, overcame a field of top international bboys to become the World Solo Battle winner at the 2006 UK Bboy Championships held at Brixton Academy in October. As a dream of his since his bboy beginnings, it is a definitive milestone in his career and reflects the hardwork he has put in to this dance and his drive to be the best. He is the first UK dancer to win the event since 1998 and this achievement has put him down in the bboy hall of fame for life. Congratulations Mouse!
